GD-4133S Multiple impulse coupler


General introduction

GD-4133S cable testing multiple impulse coupler work together with GD-4133 cable multiple impulse faults diastimeter and HV signal generator, to test various high resistance leakage faults of electrical cables, flashover faults, low resistance grounding and short circuit faults. GD-4133S provides impulse signal coupling path for GD-4133S, and make it isolate HV electrical equipment. It adopts the most advanced “multiple impulse method” technology in the world, which makes the judgement of cable faults waveform simple and convenient.

Multiple impulse method simplifies the identification of cable fault waveform greatly and makes complicated HV impulse flashover waveform into a fault waveform which is very easy to judge, which reduces technology and experience requirements to operators. It can interpretates waveform accurately and measure fault distance, which improves the success rate of fault testing greatly.
